... 7 ounces and is loving his nightly bath! (I think he must think he's going back where it's always nice and warm!)

I couldn't do any of this without my darling Bob and the emails and phone calls from family and friends. We'll stay in better touch now that the surgery is over. We are so sorry if we worried you with a bit of a gap in blog postings. I'm really doing pretty well for being only one week out from surgery!

... for 3 hours before getting the boarding pass and going through security for a second time. Finally in the boarding area waiting another 3 hours to board. Our spirits are not broken from the unexpected events but only increased our sense of adventure and can't wait to get to Amsterdam ...

We are getting close to crunch time. All of our payments are due by July 20th. I've also set up my immunization appointment on July 7! Things are rolling right along.

Made it home by 7:30 last night. I highly recommend that Lake Michigan ferry! Totally cool.
Busy today with laundry, groceries, etc. Gotta download some film and put something together for our friend who couldn't make any of the Power Tour this year.

We went back to the Mapleberry restaurant for breakfast this morning then off to the Polish Museum of America. This is the oldest ethnic museum in Chicago. In the foyer on the 3rd floor there is a beautiful sled that is over 200 years old. It was carved out of one big log. The King of Poland had it made as a Christmas present for his young daughter.
