Visited the Holy Moly Drug Store at 301 Issaquena Avenue, Clarksdale. Proprietors Carla Maxwell and Adrian Kosky greeted us with a very warm welcome. ... hitchhiking. We tried our luck and I was in the process of asking a nearby garage for their abandoned cardboard to create a sign when a taxi rocked up ...... Maybe a big adventure another say !? In reflection the campsite was much further than I had first thought! I would of died from dehydration and paranoia before ever reaching the campsite! The taxi also allowed me to get back early enough to head to the swimming pool and teach everybody ...

... stop was at our motel for the evening, the Hampton Inn in Greenwood. Tomorrow we hit Memphis. Since it was so early, we got directions to the Mississippi Delta Museum which turned out to be right across the Highway. This local museum was ok, told the history of the region, has copious examples of early indian pottery, arrowheads, etc. Had a wildlife exhibit, local art work, and history of what was happening in the area during the Civil War ...
