Medford, Oregon, United States pamericas... the market were 3 or 4 floors of shops. Near the Market was the Seattle Art Museum. I hope we can come back one day and visit it.
Leaving Seattle we drove past Mariner's Safeco Field and the Seahawk's Quest Stadium. Traffic picked up into Portland and Eugene. Our day ended in Grants Pass, Oregon. Nice place to end it.
Williams, Oregon, United States andre583... Horse rides through the country side, a huge zip line coarse, or a natural river fed pool, they had it made. And, they were super nice and let me check out the rooms, use their wifi, and thankfully, play their piano. It's a bit pricey, but how often do you get to wake up in the tree tops! After a few hours I "B" lined it back to the coast. Next stop, San Fransisco.
Cave Junction, Oregon, United States brandonibologna... or even a BBQ dinner, etc. Then on Labor Day weekend we had two big parties. First, on Saturday, we had about 25 people at Sami's for BBQ chicken and pot luck dishes and most importantly, for me, was the Costco cake (that I really like and never have a chance to get), so we called the party an 'Un-Birthday Party' and everybody had a good time.

Then on Sunday, we went over to other friends, Patty and Tim's place for BBQ hamburgers and lots more ...

Medford, Oregon, United States sharynr... Yolis bar and restaurant is a great place to relax with some drinks and good food. This is a family run place where locals and repeat tourists are regulars. Yolis great grandmother bought the land for coconut oil and some cash. Her family are amongst the oldest families in the area. Great people! Excellent Chinese Food restaurant says it all. Yummy! and cheap. The locals eat there. Myrtles is kind of hard to find it didn't have a sign but good Johnny Cakes for ...

Rogue River, Oregon, United States themeierlsI could pretty much tell where we crossed over the border from California to Oregon. Not because of the road signs, but because it went from beautiful slightly-cloudy skies to rain, rain, and more rain. Okay, slight exaggeration... it was raining in NorCal before we hit the border, but not far. We had two reasons for heading north into Oregon on the return trip instead of retracing our steps along the 299 ...
Grants Pass, Oregon, United States darkskye... about an hour from Quito, built to mark the equator. Other than that the only exciting thing that happened was my wallet (Joe) was stolen on the trole. It was my fault because I got lazy and left it in my cargo pocket where it was easy to get to. Fortunately, the only thing of value in there was $40 cash so it could have been much worse. We will miss many things ...
