... and a performance we could hardly see over the crowds. We left feeling like we were really lucky to be here at this time of year and get to see such celebrations, but that was masked by the surprise that our host had waiting for us. FIREWORKS! He was like a little kid clapping and cheering as one after another they lit up the sky. An amazing end to another amazing day. ... stay tuned. The cliff top carries a handful of restaurants all facing out across a view of the Indian Ocean. Each establishment has a table out the front with the fresh seafood on offer. Almost every display had a large marlin fish which slowly had chunks of steak cut away from it. I'm not sure if you've ever seen a marlin but it's a magnificent looking beast and to see them only half eaten towards the end of the night seemed a waste ...

... 11am karma yoga 12.30 an optional coaching class 1.30pm tea time 2.00pm lecture 3.30pm yoga 6pm vegetarian meal 8pm group meditation/chanting 10.30pm lights out During our time at the ashram we also aren't allowed to drink alcohol, smoke or eat meat, fish or eggs, garlic and onions or drink coffee!
