Unfortunately this zoo is a depressing experience. It is extraordinarily Victorian with the tiger cages no bigger than a living/dining room. When you consider the tiger has a territorial range equating to half of the New Forest I find it difficult to balance my emotions with the conservation argument most zoos present these days. Although I am probably at a near all time financial low I have felt like a King here.
