... a car usb charger to save my dying phone gps. Can I just take a moment to praise the Lord and Allah and the universe for Google? WHAT a free service. What an amazing map system. What an awesome phone I have. Just... EVERYTHING. Praise be to Google. There was a lot of construction (what we usually, more descriptively, call "roadworks") all the way, and endless trucks. Today we left Gatlinburg TN and headed to Cumberland Gap via Cumberland parkway. Went to Virginia through the Cumberland tunnel into Cumberland Gap State Park went to highest pinnacle. ... Kentucky is but it certainly does rain every time we are here. It’s also windy and in the 50’s so I can’t imagine what kind of touring we’ll do. If we hadn’t paid for tonight I’d suggest going on to Nashville but then it’s mighty windy to drive. At least I could get caught up on my journaling but nothing of note to tell!

... go for a walk when it started raining again. Probably just as well as my legs (thighs) are so very sore it’s difficult to get up and moving. I can’t imagine why they are so sore but man, they are.
