We then rendezvoused at the IMAX, where we watched a documentary in the theatre about coral reefs [I've lost count of how many times I've had to learn about the things], before leaving the museum and crossing back over to the English side of Ottawa.

We drove past the Parliament buildings and were deposited at the Rideau Centre for a few hours. We just decided to randomly amble about the mall ...

... looks like it could be a dive, and it is very small. However, looks can be decieving. They had some amazing food! There were booths set up on one side and bar stools on the other with the 'kitchen' open on the right hand side of the bar stools. We didn't take any pictures of the place itself, but we plan to go back (it was that good). This morning we are headed off to look around and buy our seven day museum passes. Over and out!

... we could wait for it to get dark, we wanted to check out the ice sculptures lit up at night. One of them breathed fire! This weekend we also went to the Winterlude events on the Quebec side of the river in Gatineau. We walked across the bridge and got some pretty good pics of the parliament buildings from another angle. We then checked out what was going on Winterlude wise in Jacques-Cartier park which runs right along the Ottawa river. We will definitely go back there when ...
