Sea days are an alternate reality. The real world rarely intrudes and you can do, within the confines of the ship, as little or as much as you want. We had 2 sea days on the way to Ponta Delgada in the Azores followed by 6 more sea days to Florida. We had a slight deviation as we needed to go to Bermuda to take a passenger off the ship who required immediate medical assistance. I thought my end was about to ...
... like being in Florida in the summer. Soon thereafter the captain made an announcement to stay inside. That horse was already out of the barn. Only an idiot would have been outside when there was so much lightning. There must have been idiots as he felt compelled to make the announcement.
The afternoon was sunny and calm. The seas have been sedate since we left Aruba. We’re now getting a little motion as we approach Florida.
This area is a very busy ...
