About 1/3 of our way down the trail, we had another first (for me at least) first wasp sting. It hurt, and I didn't know it was a wasp, my sister told me.

At the Visitor Center, there was a sign about the mosquito level. Aparently, the moquito level was moderate, which ment one was biting you every time ...

Late start. We got up at 8:30. It was cold in the cab last night so I cranked up the heat waaaay too high and baked us like potatoes for the first half. ... and Columbia isn't the most exciting town. But now, I am glad I didn't over think it because this is turning into the best year of my life.

PASOs (a nonprofit organization for bridging the gap between Latino families and public health resources) has been an unexpected life changing experience. I have never been more appreciated of a job and felt more appreciated as an employee. This is the first job I have ever had that did not send me home ...
