Happy Mother's Day! We left our Emporia, VA Walmart camping spot about 8 AM. Arrived in Concord about 12:30, found our campsite and spent the remainder of the day setting up camp. A few thoughts after returning from a trip up the East coast into Bar Harbor, Me. and back.
First, I would like to alert anyone, in our local area, who might be interested, we do not
have traffic problems in the Tidewater area of Virginia. If you really want to
experience problems, drive around NYC or up the coast of Connecticut, or
even inland in CT. for 50-100 miles. Depending on which direction you
are going and the time of the day, you
... of this nature, please, please do NOT hesitate or wait too long to take it on. It is a journey to cherish for the rest of our lives, and I honestly do not feel we could have done it, if we had waited much longer in our lives to do it.
DO NOT HESITATE OR WAIT......................DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! It is worth the effort to see what you can see and experience what you can experience.
