The student rioting seemed to be escalating, but no one had contacted us to cancel the trip. We arrived Friday evening (13 hours time change) and crashed in our lovely room (Sheraton) overlooking Hong Kong Harbor. We had to sleep "fast" because Jim's nephew, John, and wife, Hallie planned to pick us up at 11:00 ...

Temperature in Roswell early morning was 53 and humidity in the 90s. Valentino looked like several buckets of water had been thrown on him, heavy dew.

"It" gave us a good route out of town and we were soon heading towards mountains, a welcomed sight after all the flat lands. In the hills we saw wild turkeys grazing on grass lands. ...
