    Things that surprised me in the last 400 miles or so. All at their respective and various levels.

    1. There are hills in Nebraska! After hundreds of miles of flatlands I thought they were mountians and got out to take a picture at a rest stop.... it's the fuzzy one bellow at 12X optical zoom. Can someone tell me the name of these "mountains" that run parallel to I-80?

    ... the day! We saw a marmot, a deer, some squirrels -but no mountain lions or bears (bummer - even though we had to make a bear bag and hoist the food up into the trees at night!! ah ha). I have attached some picture for you to see.
