I must admit I didn't spend much time in Buffalo, as it was just a place where we spent the night during our weekend at the Niagara Falls. The Hotel was great anyway: probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in! It's not in the town centre (closer to Lake Erie) but from the windows, I got a great view of the town. Great value for your money!

Tank is installed
... arrived and my new socks. I have started packing my clothing in waterproof bags, which will then be put into my luggage bag/backrest. Only one package has not arrived, that is my Cool Thighs. I'm hoping to get them on Fri. or Sat. Then . . . . off we go!!!! Whoopie!!!! Oh, almost forgot, I'm also cleaning and shining my trike to make her all pretty for the trip. If only she would do the same for me!

Not a good result for me
Linda got up early this morning and decided to take another walk along the edge of the falls and grab a few more snaps before we had to head off for the BIG game in Buffalo.

... the grass and weeds have never been cut AND there are junk yards along the interstate. The whole state looks very unappealing. As soon as we entered New York State, the interstate highway became a "Turnpike" so we had to stop at an "entry toll booth" to collect a pass ticket. When we made our turn towards Buffalo there was an "exit toll booth" where we had to pay $14 for traveling 80 miles. I told the collection girl that it was the worst interstate that ...
