... Falls in 1819, but the boundary has long been in dispute due to natural erosion and construction.

Located on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world, with a vertical drop of more than 165 feet (50 m). Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America, as measured by vertical height and also by flow rate. The falls are located 17 miles (27 km) ...

    Souvenir Blankets on Amtrak

A travel blog entry by vagrant_reality on Jul 10, 2012

Day 128 of Andy and Suez's Great Adventure

A travel blog entry by andyandsuez on Dec 15, 2010

... sure that we didn't crash. Andy and I did put our seatbelts on just in case, though.

Because of the delay created by the snowfall we didn't end up getting to Niagara until nearly 10pm. I thought that we would be us for the night. But no, Alex told us we had 15 minutes to dump our stuff in our rooms, wrap up warmly and meet back down on the lobby as we were going to see the falls that night. Okay dokey, so that's what we did. We were back downstairs ...
