... In contrast to Detroit, Windsor is a compact, sharp, white, and somewhat crowded little city. In 1968, during riots in Detroit, the residents came to the riverside park to set up lawn chairs and watch the megaopolis across the river burn.

Once back with Gaby we head off for another must do, an American Diner. Salisa’s is open, serving lunch, and perfect. Decorated with photo’s of muscle cars and old airplanes and serving up quite the most delicious burgers ever made by man. Just fantastic!

... arrived and my new socks. I have started packing my clothing in waterproof bags, which will then be put into my luggage bag/backrest. Only one package has not arrived, that is my Cool Thighs. I'm hoping to get them on Fri. or Sat. Then . . . . off we go!!!! Whoopie!!!! Oh, almost forgot, I'm also cleaning and shining my trike to make her all pretty for the trip. If only she would do the same for me!
