Comfort Inn Evansville

After trekking across so much of the country I figure it's about time for an interlude regarding the in-betweens, the funny little interstices between place and place and story and story. After all, sometimes most of the fun has been getting there.

We left at around 9:30 today and hit the road straight after breakfast. We did a short detour to see the Serpent Mound and some related stuff. Signs were saying that it has something to do with an ancient culture from around 800 BC. In fact the signs and some small hills are everything what can be seen there. ... and spend January in New Zealand. After the trip, I'm going to spend two months (approximately) at home relaxing and finishing up two online classes. Then I'm going on a 4 1/2 month journey through Mexico, India, and parts of Southeast Asia that I will probably never forget. More on that later though!

At USI they had a study abroad contest for students who had studied abroad through programs accredited by the university.
