Lovely big room. Comfort have really great pillows. There are soft and not so soft to choose from. Near the train line but trains did not disturb our sleep.

On the road soon after 8.15 after another hot breakfast at the motel. It was biscuits and gravy, and sausage day. Biscuits are shaped like scones and about the same size but have a crust and texture like damper. They are eaten with a gravy which was a very pale gray (creme of mushroom soup colour) which had some lumpy bits in it. I tried the …

... a lot more enjoyable than the rides we'd had before through Pensilvania further down the state. As we'd set off late today we had trouble deciding where to stay as we were running out of sunlight. Free grabbing some food for dinner at a supermarket, we lucked out and found a secluded clearing by the lake that was perfect for camping overnight. It was dark by the time we finished setting up and ate so just got a decent nights sleep for the day ...

The first was the Crossraods Indoor Market. People bring all kinds of locally made, grown or built items into a big warehouse and set up stalls. Mike got a bottle of wine and I bought a star.
Then we drove towards Chautauqua and along ...

We got the sad news today that our cousin Don has passed away unexpectedly. Our hearts are broken at his loss, and yet so grateful that we just got to spend time with him and the rest of the family. Our hearts are with you all, but none more than ...

... They put us in the space right next to the pool and in front of the pond. Oh Darn! (Lucky aren't we??) It is a VERY nice spot and we are NOT complaining!
We had a quick lunch and jumped into the Jeep.
Presque isle State Park was ANYTHING but what we expected! Wow, I mean, WOW! It was only a few exits away from our camp and it is a peninsula that darts out into the Great Lake of Erie. There isn't any camping here, which is ...
