Take-away pizza slices for dinner and it's the end of another great (though soggy) day. It's supposed to clear up at midnight and be sunny again, so we are hoping that we can go exploring new places. It's Martin Luther King Jr. Day tomorrow and a public holiday, so we'll see if there is any sort of celebration ...

Staying in Harlem was great. It had a great feel, and we soon found our local coffee shop 'Home Sweet Harlem'. When we first arrived we weren't sure how safe Harlem was, but looking past the harsh exterior, people seemed very warm and we stayed street wise.

Being in such a huge and iconic city on a budget of 75 between us a day (including travel, accommodation and food etc.) we thought would ...

... cars as well as still ones and has had over 30 million riders on it with never an accident. Cam and i went on the Cyclone, an original wooden roller coaster. Cam wasn't sure but we screamed our way around. After a few more various rides we found some food.

Once we had dinner the sun had gone down and the lights had come on, it was a different place bathed in bright shining lights.

Some very tired but happy kids went to bed tonight.
