'No, it's too small.' Was Rachael's reaction when we had reserved a 'full size' pick up truck and they presented us with a Nissan tonka toy. So that's how we ended up with our beast of a Ram. Thank you Rachael for your deadpan and pause! We had no idea where we were heading so we just looked at a map (which are now almost obsolete thanks to Sat are 40s to Rachael's disgust, but that's another story), ...

Being in such a huge and iconic city on a budget of 75 between us a day (including travel, accommodation and food etc.) we thought would ...

      ... is a celebration.

We wind our way over to Grimaldi's which is a very famous pizza place in Brooklyn. No matter what time of the day or night you are here, there is a line. Turns out you can get served quicker if you are a party of one, so Paul waits in line and orders ...

We viewed the GROWLER Submarine. Then the INTREPID Aircraft Carrier which had many difference aircraft on its top deck. There was also a Lego Model of the Intrepid in the Museum. We had our lunch sitting under the British Airways Concorde. We paid extra to visit the ENTERPRISE Space Shuttle on ...

      ... spoke of never came.

Next I went back to the hotel to check out and check my bag for the day. After that I took the E train downtown to 42nd St to change to the C to Chambers St where I walked to Petit Abeille and had a quick lunch. This was my first time at this restaurant and it won’t be my last. I got the Croque Monsieur which is served with frites and little side salad. Considering I had such a large breakfast I didn’t end up finishing the croque, but it ...
