Ventured out of the Phoenix heat for a trip to Chicago/Wisconsin. My family has a cottage (small lake house/cabin) on Lake Koshkonong near Madison Wisconsin. Coming to the cottage all weekends in the summer is my biggest regret for not living near Chicago. So my compromise is to come to the cottage at least a year. The cottage is a magical place with so much nature and beauty right on the lake - but a second/weekend home brings lots of work as the elements and age of the property ...
