Long 10 hour trek but without incident and with a professional and witty young - mind you, the more we go the more people are young... - border officer. Our two well-trained killer attack dogs were - except very few complaints during the day and some for 'good reasons' - amazingly quiet and patient: 10 hours in a crate! Are your kidding me? Now …
We hit the road at 8:30 and landed here at 19:30, after covering 600 miles / 960 km. Sharing the drive makes a world of difference. Friends and family members! Please take a moment and pray for a friend who is going through a turbulent sea at the moment, fighting cancer. I really believe that we can make a difference. Nous pensons à toi cher …
... that again in Indy. (How's that for a positive spin on being in Indiana instead of Paris?) We are settling into our home again, getting back to familiar routines and catching up with family and friends. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home-and your own ...
... I truly felt that, by writing each day, I was able to capture all of the memories real-time. Waiting until the end of the trip back in the states, oh man. Trying to recap everything would have been impossible.

We get some frappuccinos and ...

Place is a bit difficult to find with a much more obvious Holiday Inn next door. Neat entrance, friendly registration, easily connected WiFi. Room is nice with all the usual accommodation (good size fridge, microwave, very nice 'functional' TV, including a noisy mediocre AC/Heater). Breakfast area is large and quality of food to be determined tomorrow morning. Our yorkies found stuff under the main furniture that were not cleaned: what else might there be?
