    The call of home was getting stronger, but we mostly stuck to our travel plans, stopping in our planned places the last few days.     ... beautiful flowering dogwoods along the creek. Across the bridge, I turned right to follow the loop in the counterclockwise direction. Hiking downstream along Campbell Creek, the spring scenery was beautiful. The leaves were starting to bud on the trees and there a number of wildflowers poking out through the forest floor.     ... could go on and on. It is rejuvenating, educational and so much fun. It opens you up to meeting people, great conversation and your own journal to share and look back on for years to come.

    We now look forward to the lake thawing and opening! Time to prepare for spring and get into the groove of daily living.
