      ... to be there. We stayed for dinner and the food was ok but the ice cream cups for dessert were so frozen you couldn't get it out! We left Aunt Irma's at 6:15 and headed south to Garner, NC for our campground for the night at 117 Buffaloe Acres RV resort. Another missed turn in the misty rain and after dark and we had to turn around in a gas station this time. Fortunately, the manager of the campground met us and led us into our site.       ... a range of 411 miles, can't complain about that as it would get us to where we needed to go.

      This drive was long and straight. Mile after Mile of wooded hills and valleys as we passed through Virginia and North Carolina. Passing umpteen civil war battlefields, Richmond the confederate capital and the Stonewall Jackson memorial gave us a real sense of history.
