BTW, we saw many trees that were beginning some phase of the color change all the way from Marquette to home. Perhaps they are confused with the long cold winter, and a considerable dry spell until recently!!
... again to head back into America, but on the other side of Canada to where we entered. We cleared customs very quickly here, thankfully and were at our hotel at 7pm. Dinner was at the restaurant attached to the hotel, as there is no where else local to eat. Tomorrow we head off to the Henry Ford Museum. Looking forward to that, so i can pass on the info to my Dad.
Had a family day out with Shannon's family today and it was lovely. We drove up to Frankenmuth which is an old established Bavarian town that has so much character. We went to a quaint group of village shops that had lots of Halloween decorations everywhere. Halloween is so big here. We met up with Shannon and Matt's parents, and it was lovely to meet them.
