Our party of eight included Tracy and Brian, Bill and Clemente and their dear friends Jim and Amadito. We ordered our meals (I had the beef wellington... because I had never had it before!) and sat visiting when our server, Celina, arrived at the table and began to pour a couple of bottles of red wine into two decanters. And the welcome to the USA video hasn't changed in 2 years. It's still ****. So I made it through customs. And now I'm in terminal 7 waiting for my next flight. This place seems strangely quiet for a Friday morning considering ...

After our late nights we had a sleep in and a late start to our day.

We managed to drive to Griffith Park which is most famous for being the home of the Hollywood Sign but it is also home to the Zoo, the Observatory and lots of park land, especially for horse riding and hiking.

We chose to visit the Autry Museum - www.theautry.org - which is a museum dedicated to cowboys and the Wild West. It was set up and funded by Gene Autry, ...
