While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. Wow what a year 2013 has been! Our final year in Santiago was bitter sweet knowing that we had to leave our new nest, though it is very cozy to be in our own house after being on the road for 6 years.

... me! I am going to live in a foreign country in a different hemisphere for almost 4 months. This is literally and ironically a completely "foreign" experience.
I am nervous, excited, scared, sleepless, nostalgic, bittersweet, and ecstatic all at once. Probably a few more emotions and states of being could be thrown in there, too. Guys may have the emotional capacity of a teaspoon...I on the other hand have a much wider variety of emotional tastes.
