    Vacation is just around the corner .. thank goodness. By Thursday of next week, we will be westward bound. Can't wait to get some relief from the heat.

    Our vacation has come to an end. We arrived back home after driving through horrendous thunderstorms in Shreveport, Alexandria, and Baton Rouge today. Of course it never fails ... when you are going to have to make route changes, the worst of the weather hits. But we got home in one piece.
