As per mum's suggestion, we head off to Pittsburgh first thing in the morning to do the Duquesne Incline and were surprised by the volume of traffic but no traffic jam! We took the Duquesne Incline and were wow'ed by the view. You could see the meeting of the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River whose joining forms the Ohio River. I hadn't realised how many bridges there were. Did you know that there are 10 in the downtown area ...

They discussed the Josie King story and the Josie King Foundation which had initially helped with the implementation of the Scheme.
