    In the final stages of planning our August 24 month long adventure in France. We will be landing in Paris at CDG airport on the morning of the 25th and trying to somehow find our way to the train station where we will get a train to Amiens - our first stop on our adventure.

    It's August 7th, 24 days before we leave for France. It's our first trip as a family. Annie will be a little over 14 months old. I was kind of dreading the whole thing, how we will we do it, will Annie be a nightmare. I had a glimpse of what it could be several nights ago and my fears have been eased.     As per mum's suggestion, we head off to Pittsburgh first thing in the morning to do the Duquesne Incline and were surprised by the volume of traffic but no traffic jam! We took the Duquesne Incline and were wow'ed by the view. You could see the meeting of the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River whose joining forms the Ohio River.     I've spent a fair amount of time waiting around for buses, so hanging around for four hours in Pittsburgh's Greyhound station while I wait for my bus home is familiar territory.
