At night I struggle with sleep, trying to keep the images from my mind. I often fail. I ask you to please not tell me how you don't like dog parks or your horrendous animal story, I've heard enough and I hurt too deeply. Instead hold us in your hearts, give a donation to your animal shelter and hug someone you love.

... reminds me of Neyland stadium with the jumbotron minus the 108,000+ stands. We ran a few laps around the track and then continued our run through the campus. It's a very nice, clean campus. When we arrived at Springfield it was already late and dark. We were all hungry. So it didn't took us long to get our stuff into the Hotel rooms (which by the way were huge with its own little kitchen and a sofa.) and get out to find a restaurant. I had suspected that TDR was a special place before setting foot there, from perusal of the website and the welcoming emails about my reservation, but I was pretty amazed at what I learned about the place while there. ... We returned to Cottage Grove to pick up a newly-washed RV (they surprised us with that!) and headed back to the coast for a night at Umpqua Lighthouse State Park. This park is in the middle of the Oregon Dunes, and since it was a holiday weekend there were several thousand dune-loving ATV-riders camping out also. Each campsite seemed filled with at least 2 trucks, several ATV's, and way too many people. We moved on to get away from the crowds.

Hello again.. Had an easy ride to my friend Mick's home outside of this small town.. His five areas backs up to a pretty good size river and he pulls a few fish from it as he wants...
