    Made it out of Cedarville, CA & a nice cruise to Gerlack NV. Good riding with a light tailwind, low traffic and good scenery. Water rules all out here; where it is there is green and human activity. In between are the dry places but lots of lizards, plants and interesting terrain.     ... headed in the right direction the local high school had let out so we decided to take a walking tour of downtown Cottage Grove until traffic would allow us to visit the last three bridges.     ... dinner- for me, not the dogs. Everybody was happy, tho, and we survived day 2. The cat knows the routine by now.

    Third day, Alturas up into Oregon, Klamath, and a stop for gas, groceries, and bagels, then on to TDR.

    And on the 4th day, she rested.

    But today, June 3, I took my inflatable kayak (IK) to a small lake near Mill Creek Res. in Oakridge, and took it on its maiden voyage. Ready for whitewater next week?!

Along our trip here, there were many logging trucks full of lumber, and you could smell pine in the air.
