... any further information. Signs all over town say "Our name says it all." Well, ok, I guess that will have to suffice.

Lake Hartwell is beautiful. As we crossed the bridge between the states, we had glimpses of calm, sparkling blue waters. Carolina Landing is a nice park but extremely crowded. When we checked in, we were told there were only TWO spaces remaining. Thank goodness we had reservations. Our site is not exactly ...

... at the car, we continued south to get on SC-28 and headed to Yellow Branch Picnic Area. After parking, we got on Yellow Branch Falls Trail. A couple of little craft shops and a wander around a homecraft festival was interrupted by a 5 minute rain shower, and we took off to sample the local vineyards 'produce', which was lovely (and free!). lunch ...

... properties for sale and I can still only 400K for an empty lot on the lake. And of course I found my favorite cemetery yet (ok not including the coonhound cemetery). Just a mile down the road from the lake house is a tiny little cemetery with just a few rows of headstones. What amazed me was the grave of Elizabeth Eller who lived 1827-1922. In a time when the average life span was much lower than ...
