The other issue we are having is with the refrigerator in the motorhome. It is making an awful sound like the condenser is going on the fritz. We are lucky that a Camping World store is just down the street from the Jeep dealer. We stop in to see if they can help us. The frig we have does not have a condenser that can be purchased separately so now we are looking at a new frig. The lady works out the cost to be around $1800.00 U.S. however, they ...

Peggy scheduled us for a jeep ride in the sand dunes and rock outcroppings of Sand Hollow State Park. We met Jonathan in the park. He took us on a 4-hour tour of the mountain, red rocks, sand dunes, and plants. He provided information about the area plants - yucca, Brigham tea, prickly pear cactus, sage, chapparral, cactus, etc and animals - jack rabbit, snake, lizards, nests of hawks and owls. We saw rocks shaped like ...

What's weird is this corner of Nevada, meets Arizona and Utah so within an hour you can have crossed 3 states! Although this is still the desert the rocky hills lining the freeway had began to get a beautiful reddish tinge.

By 2pm we were surprised that we'd arrived in St George in Utah our stop for the night. Originally the plan was to see Zion ...

Near the end of the hike is supposedly the oldest Bristlecone Pine Tree in the park at over 1,600 years old. The other short hike was through the bordering forest where we found a small alpine pond and wonderful meadows full of wildflowers.
