    ... nothing but sand and rock for miles and miles, perhaps because it's so opposite from England and New York where we come from. Just before the CA/NV border we stopped in Baker - a small little town that seems to exist as a road side service stop but home to the World's Largest Thermometer.     Nice long nap time gives us time to catch up on some jobs in the sunshine. Taya is fairly happy but still really sick.
