As soon as the sun moved out from behind the hotel it felt like we were lobsters in a boiling pot. The transition from boiling water to the shade to the AC was rough on shivering Andrew. Ana didn't notice. We showered up and hit the road after a "healthy" brunch at Carl's Jr. We headed east across the Mojave hills, stopping for gas and a hat after ...

This summer finds us off the road for a few months north of St. George, Utah. While we have no specific agenda this summer, other than waiting for our next grandson to arrive, we are getting around to see a few sites in spite of the hot, dry desert weather. It's been awhile since it has been below 95 degrees and it will no doubt get hotter as the summer progresses. We figured it would be good to get some historic sites covered ...

    ... Park, Utah.

We experienced rain, heavy winds, lightening and some narrow roads. Fred's knuckles were white from gripping the wheel and trying to maneuver the 31 foot trailer. All went well, he did a great job.

We have a beautiful campsite and Carter fixed chili con carne for dinner. Too tired for cards but walked to get an ice cream.

This morning we clean and tidy up the RV ready for the next chapter in our adventure. The kidlets play and have some downtime whilst we do our domestic chores. There is not a whole heap of room in the van so we weave and hop around each other getting everything sorted. We also all have a nice chat with Grandma Lizzie.

We set off after lunch heading for Zion River RV Park just outside ...
