    ... a week. Lynn's Great Grandfather was naturalized a citizen back in the day and worked in the Comstock Mine. She's excited to do a bit of research on any records she may find there about him. We also hope to visit Lake Tahoe and the area. It's a new destination for us, so we're excited to check it out.

    ... thought they would be there for a while, so John and I went on to the campground. This is a very nice campground and the scenery was great on the road here. We decided to stay here for two days since we got here late, and we were lucky that they could accommodate us since they are filling up for Labor Day Weekend. It was 104 degrees when we got here.

    The sites are small and each of the main ones contain a Ramada and fancy wood table. But, they are narrow. Fiona moved smoothly into SC14 with my semi-able assistance. She leveled up and the slide room moved into position with only a bit of anxiety...on our part. We'll get used to the procedure in due time, I reckon, but for now, it's amazing.

    We slowed the pace down a bit. Hunkered down in Hurricane UT for a couple of days. We did some grocery shopping, did some cleaning, and did some laundry.

    After all that we had a powerful urge to wash the bitter taste of domesticity out of our mouths. So of course we cooked some meat with fire and went off to tear up the desert on loud motorized vehicles.
