There were many twists and turns, several 15 mph 180 degree switchbacks, and of course most of the road was on the side of the mountain peering down into the steep valley below with little or no guardrail. I have been here in Washington for a little over a month now. I have worked for 18 days and had 15 days off. However, I have yet to be able to really enjoy any of them. I took a few days and went for a drive I have some nice pics to show for that. But it has been one darn illness after another. Giant kidney stone a couple of weeks ago, stomach virus last week. And this week some heavier than normal rain. Next week I am going somewhere, I don't know where, but I am ...

Total miles 7,732 Woke up to a wet morning today. 50 degrees - Fog, then drizzle, then light rain....but I will take this any day ...than deal with that 95 degree humid weather back in Maryland........sorry guys but you can keep that there with you! First stop today was the Pacific Ocean, off of 101 North. Nice area but not too much too look at, so we snapped a few photos and headed to M. Ponsler Memorial Park. Great section, lots of drift wood around and ...
