Panama City, Florida, United States pamericas... a spot on the sand away from the kiddies and mullets...pretty good time.

Had a dolphin swim within 15 feet of me, probably due to our perfected dolphin and mermaid calls (I had nothing on Brad and Kat´s--but it worked).

We had no idea what we were getting into.

But this seems to be the only place on earth that serves Busch Beer in bottles--worth the price of admission.

Panama City Beach, Florida, United States lexicon.... before sunset--it had been raining but it only sprinkled a little while we walked. The beach reminded me a little of The Outer Banks--houses only, no condos or high-rises. The beach itself is quite beautiful--white sand.Dinner was at the Blue Parrot--a restaurant (maybe the only one open?) on St. George Island. We ate outside on the porch overlooking the ocean. I had Fried Oysters, which were very good; Larry had grouper & scallops--skimpy portions.
St. George Island, Florida, United States bdodson... food, Good Movie now I just need to hit the sack. Good thing that the beds here at the Hilton Garden Inn are very comfy!
Panama City, Florida, United States fpwind... the boat and sailing it to the pier at the condo. Then it's a calm fishing day. Except, the first boat's motor catches on fire, out in the water. The only replacement is a pontoon, which isn't the best for casting. But nothing stops dedicated fishermen/women. There's enough fish for dinner! No suprise.
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... how to fish. Their wedding photos show Skip & Min leaving the reception with...fishing poles. So, here we are at a resort that has a fishing pier. And after we check in...the first priority is to check out the fishing sites, after going to the Post Office to pick up his fishing gear. Of course, Skip has already downloaded all the maps.
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... it's better and it handles beautifully. It also has a slide-out, in the living/dining area (that the Dynasty didn't), which gives us quite a bit of extra 'living' area. However, it had a pull-out type sofa, that was not satisfactory for my use. So, the boys removed it and put it into PJ's house. Then I installed, in it's place, a twin bed with storage area underneath. I also added some ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2... Crabcakes - full of seafood and beautiful. Here's me and the waitress in the restuarant called "That Place on 98" We also loved Mexico Beach just down from Port St Joe and now we're in Panama City about to visit the waterfront this evening. We've just gained an hour as we're now on Central Time.
Panama City, Florida, United States marty_chrissie... With the telephone technology of today, she was able to move the business from Maui to Florida. We got there just as she was setting up and getting everything going. It was actually fun for me because it almost felt like we were back on Maui. We were talking to the owners of activity companies, activity agents and tourists who were all on Maui and we were acting like we were, too. The 'farm' is only a few acres but it has two small ponds (where Terry could fish), a large shop ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2... and the truck driver recovered enough for us not to really collide badly. The only damage was his side mirror banged ours, practically tearing it off and shattering the upper mirror (of the two mirrors in the bracket). By the time that we could pull over, he was gone and it would have been too much trouble to try to go after him (it's not easy to turn around with an 40" RV plus our Grand Cherokee Jeep SUV hitched behind)! Well, after the Perdido Key ...
