Today is our Concord, California concert. The last couple of days were fairly uneventful tour wise because we spent 16 hours on the road from Seattle to San Francisco, than since my family lives close, I spent another 2 and a half hours driving to their house in Monterey.

... magical. FYI...they call the fog bank Carl and now that I know that, the local weather reports shown at breakfast each morning make sooooo much more sense!! We stopped for a few moments to watch the bay whilst the tour guide played music, which was lovely. Alcatraz disappeared before our eyes, as did most of the city. We stayed on the bus to hitch a ride back to Union Square and then ran our pants off back to the hotel to get back to warmth as quickly as possible. Such a great ...
