      ... hours, so both of us used the rest room at the gas station.

    • We got some hot dogs at the gas station, which I was a bit nervous about but they turned out to be fine.
    • It was a cheap dinner for $4.25.
    • The drive through the forest was definitely worth going out of the way.

      ... been dreading this pass since Don and Marcia told me it was as bad as the elevation profile made it look, but I think that with the help of the storm, it was one of the more passable of the four I climbed over the last three days.       I'm doing what you see, while some of the others are playing cards. It's been a wonderful visit to a beautiful area. We entered our twenty-seventh state this year when we came back to Washington. What a beautiful land we have and what a grand way to see it.
