I went to The Garden of Gods I've never seen something so beautiful in my life it was just so quiet and so peace full and there was so much wildlife around i even had a bird land on my shoulder it was the cutest thing i have ever seen the garden was one of the best and beautiful thing id ever seen.
Today I went to
the memorial park in Calarardo Springs The park has perimeter trail
2.0 miles, and center trail with in the park .06 miles, and two 5k trails,
indoor and outdoor pool, recreation center, three baseball fields one softball
field, basketball court, boating, exercise course, 12 ...
... So up we went again! He was right! The thrill of the downhill ride was exhilarating!
We have had a marvelous vacation, and visiting with friends and family made it that much better. We love you Jen & Dale, Steph & Adam, Bets, and Diane & Gary. Thank you for everything!
We have arrived home safely after visiting nine states, taking countless pictures, and putting about 4800 miles on our trusty Suzuki. Signing off until next time...
Well "Merry Christmas" to all. Another big day today and the longest one by car. I got up at 5.20am and went to the gym. There was this guy in there before me and he didn't respond to my "Merry Christmas" - what a bah humbug!! Workout done - quick breakfast and then we were on the road by 9am. Started the day as planned "snow covered" but as we neared our destination there was no snow. Boo hoo - all my dreams of snowball fights and building snowmen ...
... through Loveland and then got on I-25 south to 470 the Tollway Outerbelt of Denver. They took a picture of our license plate and we will get a bill in the mail for the toll. We don't know what it will be until it comes. Before long we saw the exit for the Airport and before we knew it we were dropping Erin off to fly home to Seattle.
Larry and I headed west from the airport and then south on 270 toward Colorado Springs. We didn't get far ...
