... park, we stopped at many of the viewing points and took photos of the stunning yet rugged coastline.

We began our day today with the steep climb up to view Carisbrook Falls. From there we drove onto Apollo Bay. This town has become very commercialised since we were here 15 years ago. Large buses deposit tourists who then wander in the middle of the road taking their happy snaps. Just one more obstacle to negotiate on the windy roads! From Apollo Bay we drove up to ...

It was so windy that we decided to drop the top of the slide on which meant that Mads was sleeping on the seats and I had the floor with restricted movement ha ha! Lisa was too tired and hungry to take the walk so she waited in the car while I traversed to the base. Going down wasn't so bad but i definitely had to stop on the way up, god I am unfit.

After a quick bite to eat at Lavers Hill (at 03:30pm i must add) we headed down to the ...

... there was a series of challenges to do. They were supposed to be on there for 15 mins for what we paid, but jared and I got chatting to the owner and I think they ended up on there for about 45 mins. They had heaps of fun and I have to say that I was very proud of Mia, she's not usually the adventurous one in our family but she was there with bells on, having an absolute ball! Kennett River is one of many many many rivers which flow down from the Otway Ranges ...
