They were really well used and came in handy! Ready or not, the hike was ...

The wood we found is very green so keeping it roaring is difficult but we keep at it! Much quieter night tonight with only the occasional 'quack' from the hundred of ducks on the lake. Overnight temp forecast 3 degrees! Yeah righto! We'll see....... Start day 10:00 End day 17:00 289 ...

... the information sheet we were following had half of the old sites as "No Longer existing on sites shown"

We continued on and followed the Red Rock Volcanic Reserve Drive. There were two really high points on top of dormant volcanos. There are over 40 craters around this area that created a startling landscape. Some are Lakes of which Colac Lakes is one, it is actually the largest freshwater lake in Victoria.
