... I rented the van had several outside that were plain white, with just the hire company name printed on the side, so I figured it was all good. but it turns out that they act as agents for other hire companies, and the van I got, as you'll see in the photos, has the most ridiculous paint job going! Everywhere we go, people stare and point and children burst into tears. Other than that, I'm very excited to be on the road and enjoying the freedom of camping.

... back to our cabin and recreate a Barry White song. What do you say when you wake up to 2 people you don't know, getting it on. Thankfully they decide to go somewhere else and wake up that half of the boat as well. Took the shine off the day really but we both eventually managed to get back to sleep.

... in the same place both nights..... hot dogs for starters then a mean spag bol for dinner.... we were all pretty tired so we didn't drink tooooo much.... got a camp fire going (illegal but fun!) which attracted some neighbours... some other backpackers from Koala hostel.... they'd had an accident in soft sand, hit a tree and overturned so they were pretty shaken up...
We were really lucky with our Fraser Roving 4x4 because they don't let you load anything on top of the ...

Hello again!

Just a quickie before my internet time runs out. Been enjoying chilling out since we went to the reef. Enjoying the 30 degree, very burning cairns sunshine next to the huge lagoon pool. Also randomly ran into 2 girls from uni along the front, and then arranged a meet up with tom etc when they arrived in cairns before we got our overnight bus down to airlie beach...an 11 hour overnight ...

... he said i had a good throw (before i hit a tree) so credit again to you fatherman.) We had to get up early, and i really mean early (before 6) to catch our sailing boat. We really thought we were going to be on holiday but a lie is is currently defined for us as past 8 which pretty much sucks. Anyway, Boat was tomorrow, so read the next one.

On with the story-We set off for the Whitsunday islands in the Great Barrier Reef in style, or so we thought…. Our plan was to take a plane seeing that we are currently staying for free at Tom's and the plane flight we found was going to be cheaper than driving all the way up there (about 1100 kilometres north). Efter Fraser havde vi en enkelt nat i Rainbow og en enkelt nat i Hervey Bay foer turen gik ind til Kroombit Cattle Station.
Vi ankom til Cattle station ved frokosttid hvor frokosten stod klar til os. Efter frokost havde Maria og Henriette valgt at tage paa en ridetur hvor vi skulle drive geder. Maria havde aldrig redet foer, saa det var en skaeg oplevelse for hende. Imens sad Lui paa sit vaerelse og skrev dagbog indtil hun skulle op og se alle de andre skyde ...
