Our stay in Charlotte was gave us one day to explore, short, but fun.
Today, we left Charlotte and traveled to Natural Bridge, Virginia, through the beginning of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Beautiful views from the road, but no time to visit, leaving tomorrow morning.
Gotta get home!

On Sunday, Sandy had the day off and the weather forecast looked fabulous, so we took the kayaks out to Horseshoe Lake in Suggs Mill Pond Game Land. ... a tub holding a turtle to the beach. We then witnessed them being put into the ocean by the program attendees. It was quite emotional for them and us. I never experienced anything like it.
