We left London by bus and traveled south to the Chunnel Tunnel; the I always thought that this would be fun railroad tunnel under the English Channel that connects Great Britain and France. I always wanted to go through it even though it is a tunnel and you can't see a thing. The Chunnel was completed in 1994 at a cost of approximately $110 billion US dollars; this was a slight cost overrun of 80% (seems the British government is aas adept as cost estimates as the US government) ...
