    At daybreak on Saturday morning we left Southport with lots of recreational fishing boats and turned south to New South Wales. We travelled just over 8 hours in excellent conditions to arrive in Coffs Harbour. We passed a few whales on the way plus a marlin at the surface. Fortunately we were safely tied up at the Marina by the time the winds picked up to over 20 knots.
