... hills. Met a young couple at Dangar Falls near Bellingen. They were from Angaston and away for 12 months working - they had found one job - picking blue berries and lasted one day. They said it was very back breaking work so gave it a miss. The following day was a clean up day after the storm - couple of tree limbs across the driveway. We then had a couple of quiet days - nice weather and did some swimming in the pool. ...
... After some hot showers and drinks we say farewell to Coff's harbour and head down to Port Macquarie to a nice riverside cabin. We decide we'd like to get a bit closer to some whales and book a great value whale watching tour for the morning.....however the rain is torrential and the captain of the boat says it isn't safe to travel. So we hot foot it down to Sydney ...
After a grown up cuppa and some final chatter time as adults, we bundled into the Rv and drove for a while to cut down the long drive through the day. The boys are all buckled in their seats with a dozen pillows around them. I tell them to think its a plane and we are all squashed in our seats!
Highlights = the gorgeous walk in the sunshine to a great look out - rainbow included today!

... Jane. Unfortunately, where I was, across the river, the beach and into the waves, the sun was still shining, where Jane was, it quickly dropped below the tree line and she was soon overshadowed. Oh well, still a great day all round.
I am sure that by now you've no doubt gathered that swimming off the beach in these more temporate regions is no longer restricted by stingers, crocs or other nasty marine life.
