How lucky we were today. We had three wins. The first one was the diner we chose for breakfast. The hotel at Concrete didn't offer breakfast so we decided to head off and find somewhere along the road. We stopped at a place called Acme. All I can remember about his word was that it was written on boxes that got blown up in cartoons. The diner …

However, I am writing some of these blogs on my iPhone, and fat thumbs and 5mm keys don't mix brilliantly. I'm also usually snatching a few precious minutes of wifi connection, before I move to my next destination, to finish writing and upload the blog entry! I usually then re-read the blog offline and think ...

... but for the most part it feels derelict & deserted. There were a few RV parks there but seemed to be mostly full of long-termers. I'm a bit disappointed, I was looking forward to the hot springs... On the plus side we saw our first lake!! Our first of many I'm sure :) We kept driving around the lake to Sasquatch Provincial Park & checked out 2 open campgrounds there - Lakeside & Hicks Lake campsites. They were both just gorgeous and after seeing them ...
