    ... May 1 travel by train to Pamplona, take a bus to Roncesvalles just south of the French border, take a bus, taxi or hitchhike to St. Jean Pied-de-Port across the border in southern France. From here we hope to start our walk on Thursday, May 2, back to Pamplona on foot and onwards....

They were fun to walk through although we should have taken a torch (flash light) as you couldn't see where you were going once you got to the middle of the longest one and we kept tripping over. There were also two bridges connecting the tunnels, these I DID NOT like!!!     ... you stayed up on the mountain. We went up to the Roundhouse Lodge by Gondola with a short walk to the Peak Express which took us up to breathtaking views from Whistler Mountain Peak at nearly 7500 ft above sea level.
