We were travelling slowly - between pitstops and snow throwing stops we only managed to cover about 35 miles of the park before the sun started setting, so we decided to overnight in the town of Luray. The Days Inn although pleasant looking had very small rooms and we did not notice that the beds were doubles not Queens....we all felt a little cramped the next morning.

The Two Minute Tour of Shenandoah & Baltimore
... said the NJ stop and she was surprised that we didn’t want to stop at Edison turn pike, but accepted our destination. This tour by far was the longest tour we had gone on figuratively speaking. It was harder than the 12 day hike to ABC in Nepal, and more painful than a root canal. I hope and wish and pray that we would never have to go through this pain ever again.
