We woke up in our hotel well rested at 9AM. Checked the train status and discovered that our train, the one we were waiting for last night, didn't arrive until 2:30 AM and didn't depart until 5:39AM! So, it was a good decision to push for the hotel despite their assurances that it would be a quick repair and could leave ...

After 9 frustrating months, our house renovation has finally begun. On Wednesday I gave Remberto a check for a scary amount of money, and hoped he didn't have tickets to Brazil in his pocket. Not too thrilled with Philly. I don't know if we just went a few blocks the wrong way or what but quite frankly, it's not my fave. Our waiter told us there are pockets of not too safe. It was more of a drive-by for us before someone ...

... for obesitas, cardiac arrest and diabetes. Had it been the only group to use a BBQ like that, it would not have found it remarkable. There were tens of BBQ's. Nearby the asian part of the visiting population was fishing for crabs. Bait on a line, left for some time and then slowly lifted and a net underneath to prevent escape. The crabs were about 10 cm across the carapax.
Not a lot of species but quite a number of birds; the two Bay Bridges ...

    Day 8 - Deb Time

Lisa and I had another good workout this morning. I am going to miss Lisa and her gym. I wish I could pack them both up and take them with me. Lisa then cooked me the best lunch I have had in a long long time. Thanks again Lisa. It was amazing. We waited for Maddy to get home from school and we all headed over to this weird place for manicures. We now call ...
