... But then it's Friday, I'm in love and I have no reason for that.
      - Love is blind oftentimes; self-love is there to give you eyesight.
      - I'd rather be imperfect and be loved as opposed to being perfect without love.
      - Never lose two things when you get into a new romance: yourself and your friends, as they will save you when your new romance ends.

The electricians installed a bunch of lights yesterday - some well, some not so well. The living and dining room fixtures look great. The light in front of the door is nice. In the master bath they installed the vanity light pointing up, when we specifically and repeatedly said pointing down. The hanging light in front of the powder room is going back to Lowes. Weather 75 and sunny

Not too thrilled with Philly. I don't know if we just went a few blocks the wrong way or what but quite frankly, it's not my fave. We stayed in a very nice hotel and it has some nice sites but it's not comfortable walking around to far in different directions. Lots of homeless and riff-raff. Our waiter told us there are pockets of not too safe. It was more of a drive-by for us before someone ...

... small and dignified as a protest against all the things I don't consider to be right in this world. My many protestations about injustices, as those who are close to me know, are usually both undignified and angry! Reagan, by the way, is included in the Rotunda because he was president at the time of the collapse of the Berlin Wall and a piece of the wall is embedded in his bronze statue. Our glimpse of the White House was from afar as a uniformed officer asked us ...
