So we moved to a new hotel close to the rental place and maybe be able to get on the road, and maybe take care of our paperwork...before we get on the road....looks like a 27 hour drive to San Antonio.......so looks like long drive days (which is not a lot of fun)....feels a little safer here at this hotel, I hope. ... out of it. I can't wait to add another country to my list of places I've been!!

So, that's my next big trip and where all of my savings is going towards in the next few months. I've been back at work for a few weeks now, and sometimes the only thing that gets me through the shift is thinking of Australia!! We arrived in Washington DC on the day of the Boston marathon bomb. We couldn't take in the news and prayed that there were not too many casualties amongst the people of Boston, which includes the friends of Jamie's family who so kindly showed jamie and alana around Boston just a few days previously. The latest casualty count we managed to get from the news was 3 people dead and 170 injured, some with horrific injuries. The American people are great. They instantly responded ...

Lisa and I had another good workout this morning. I am going to miss Lisa and her gym. I wish I could pack them both up and take them with me. Lisa then cooked me the best lunch I have had in a long long time. Thanks again Lisa. It was amazing. We waited for Maddy to get home from school and we all headed over to this weird place for manicures. We now call ...
