    ... As she was about to pass a semi, he moved over right in front of us, she slowed down and all was fine, despite Greg and I yelling a lot. She drove for about an hour. We stopped in Topeka at a Golden Corral for dinner, it was pretty good, buffet. We decided to drive through Kansas City and try for a State Park in Missouri. This one was pretty easy to find, not too far off ...

    ... entire time I was there.

    I liked the engraving on the wine barrel at Beachaven. Plus je bois, mieux je chante. (The more I drink, the better I sing.) Since I can't sing at all, a little wine can only help. The drive through St. Louis was picturesque thanks to all the architecture of all the old buildings. Don't bother with the bypass, just drive right through the center of town.

    ... and he has a church in town with a congregation of about 150. He was pleasant and a little awkward. I think I'm getting good at making conversations flow though. It was always something I struggled doing with strangers before this trip, and now with Don I realized I picked up that skill somewhere along the way. We talked about his business and church. He dropped me at another gas station. Zero free Little Debbie treats were obtained...but I didn't actually ...
