-woke up at 8am ready for the long trek
-left for Oregon at 9am

... it here. Like I said, we'll be here for 4 nights and plan on doing a lot of sightseeing in the area. Everywhere you turn......there is something to see. Check out the pictures.

After leaving Jackson, we headed west briefly, then north over Teton Pass and into Idaho and continued north parallel to the Tetons (but on the west side). ... Can always use some of that! We did find it! It's a small town on the Wise River! Stopped at Big Hole on the way and saw the Big Hole Battlefield. The visitor's centre was very good - a wonderful video that really gave us an understanding of the Nez Perce Indian tribe from this area, and everything they went through.
