Well crossed into another state, this time we are in Montana. We climbed up some steep elevations today, and the snow was licking at the trees insight. A taste of things to come.

We moved today! We left Issaquah, WA at 6:30 this morning and just arrived in Butte at 7:00pm. We lost an hour but almost 12 hours in the saddle was plenty. It was a great ride though. No big towns at all and some fantastic roads. We stopped for breakfast in Ellensburg, WA and both got off the bikes saying, "this is why people ride motorcycles". …

... when we got here so Sadie could get some exercise and have a dip in the Missouri River, actually three rivers come together here to form the beginnings of the Missouri.

We are both exhausted - driving all night with little naps took a toll on both of us. I'm going to bed early because I know Jim will be up early to hit the road. Good night.
