This morning visited Helena and saw original Governor"s Mansion and visited Cathedral of St Helena, Victorian Gothic structure completed in 1914. Next visited state capitol. Capitol building not as elaborate as Madison but very historic and interesting.

Found an AT&T sim card for my phone and a quick bite to eat.
Not exactly at highlight day but got the miles in. Tomorrow will be similar in length arriving in Cedar City Utah.

... and a real steep climb up the mountain to get in the caves. I didn't bring my camera because in one part you had to sit down and slide through to the next room. I was afraid the lens might get cracked! We then headed to Missoula and went out to eat at a fabulous steak house in the warehouse district. I got prime rib and couldn't eat all of it! ...
... that electrical "I'm fried" smell hovered over one of the compartments housing the huge power cord. That was a big clue that we might have a big and expensive challenge. So without too much encouragement, we packed and hauled up the road to Missoula where we found an RV dealer that carried our brand of RV. Two hours later, we moved into our new home in the parking lot of the dealer. To be continued.
... Can always use some of that! We did find it! It's a small town on the Wise River! Stopped at Big Hole on the way and saw the Big Hole Battlefield. The visitor's centre was very good - a wonderful video that really gave us an understanding of the Nez Perce Indian tribe from this area, and everything they went through.
