    ... brother Dave, found another workamper job, and since he was still talking to us, invited us down to spend the winter. HHEC is owned by the South Florida Water Management District, and you can camp here for free. All you have to do is call for a permit and they give you the combination to the gate. The camp sites are about 3 miles from the gate. It's all dry camping (no electric or water at the sites,) but as camp hosts, we had full hookups ...

    ... and I survive.

    We have now been through 4 states in a row, all demanding tolls (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and now Pennsylvania). And they get you because they know it is the fastest and best route to travel. Maybe these states make money this way, but the businesses along the interstate must lose money, because it is too much trouble to get off and on the interstate toll road and (I'm guessing) costs you more money!

    ... driving leg of the trip was the novelty of the in-RV potty.
