    In the final stages of planning our August 24 month long adventure in France. We will be landing in Paris at CDG airport on the morning of the 25th and trying to somehow find our way to the train station where we will get a train to Amiens - our first stop on our adventure.

    It's August 7th, 24 days before we leave for France. It's our first trip as a family. Annie will be a little over 14 months old. I was kind of dreading the whole thing, how we will we do it, will Annie be a nightmare. I had a glimpse of what it could be several nights ago and my fears have been eased.     The big thing we needed to do while home was to get the camper repaired. Remember the blow out and the resulting damage?     ... pay me to learn Russian. Who would have thought? This program has already been a wonderful experience. I enhanced my Russian language skills and interacted with other members of the U.S. military. Although we have only spent a short amount of time together, my SLI friends and I know each other too well and are well-motivated to take on Russia together!
