    ... would show Jerusalem and its surrounds from many and varied angles. There was a large section on the Temple, including what looked like a reconstruction of Herod's temple which U. Leen Ritmeyer had worked on. Sure enough, his name was in the credits which was great to see! Sitting next to Hannah McCorrie who had been to Israel a number of times was great too! She was able to point out the places she'd been, where different Bible characters had stood and what happened where, where ...

    ... to mention while walking around the quaint streets of Porto where we stayed post cruise in a lovely walk up apartment on the second floor overlooking a chocolate shop (no I didn't plan that). Our Airbnb host met us when we first arrived and offered to carry up our suitcases.     We were getting up by 0130 but I was awake before 0100, heading for an early shower. Last minute this and that and down to turn in the key. Amazingly to Dave and I, staff appeared to have taken a quick trip up to the room thereafter.

    On the consternation level, our 0200 taxi was not there. Nice screw up, Ak Altyn Oteli. It took 25M for a cab to come. At least there was a saving: the hotel cab was going to cost $20 whereas Dave and I paid just 15 ...

    ... photo – and that turns into three. Since we are chasing daylight (It is already after 8 and it gets dark shortly after 9) we have to keep moving. A few kilometres and twists and turns and we arrive at Port Dover. I take a few photos including one of the little white and blue lighthouse.
