... I was done with amusement parks. P/u Maddie and arrived to Philly. Dropped off to Adam (awesome dude!) and met up with Mr. Singh at 315 Arch St. Nice flat and great location. Didn't like the animal paintings on wall. Loved how First Friday brought out community and open stores. Need to go back for this. Ate at Zento Sushi both nights. Very fresh and ...

Tour to Philadelphia and Amish experience

... a horse and buggy ride with an Amish gentleman but he didn't say anything apart from hello. The tour was advertised as an Amish experience but we didn't see or hear much at all. The brochure said we would have lunch at an Amish marketplace but there wasn't an Asmish person to be seen. It was just stalls selling normal tourist items. I was quite disappointed as we definitely didn't get a sense of how the Amish live.

It was a long day as we didn't get back to Robyns until 9.30pm.

... the kicking of my seat. But there's one on every flight. There's been delays. Quite a few of them. We left half an hour late, and then there is a storm here in Philadelphia which has shut down all take offs.... So we've been sitting on the run way at a stand still for.... Half an hour now. We are a total of an hour and a half late right now from our original predicted arrival time in Philly. Sore, hungry, with a headache, and ready to get off the plane. I'll check in later, ...

... was used by Groucho Marx on is show, You Bet Your Life. He would ask contestants who hadn't won any money at all the question, "Who was buried in Grant's Tomb?" He gave credit to them for one of two answers...Grant or no one. And both are correct...sort of. No one is the more correct answer. As Grant (and his wife) are entombed in the mausoleum, not actually buried. I got there shortly before it opened, but the nice guy who was working ...

        Day 21 - Recuperation

... electricity and internet. So we went at around 12. When we got there, we ate lunch and some of us went down to the High School field to play football. But me and one of my friends came back early, with the dog. We stayed there until 6, when we left and came to Bordentown. We watched TV for some time and then ate dinner. After a while, I got bored and went to bed.
