          I had me a liesurely drive down old Mr 75 to my destination, namely the Orange Harbor RV Resort in Ft Meyers, Florida. I think I travelled a whoppin 80 miles. The ride was filled with some pretty stuff along the way...New housing developments (these are big houses), malls, car lots, RV sales places. annnndddd the everywhere RV stor in Florida CAMPING WORLD...

          ... morning was a complete surprise. I was awakened in the early morning (0300 or so) with severe pain in my right hip --- the same location as the hematoma that hit me Thanksgiving that caused us to abandon our planned cruise board Rhiannon.           ... campsite had been empty till around 9pm when a huge family arrived and started setting up. I am pretty sure they brought their entire house with them. We found it so strange that people go camping and actually, no joke, bring their microwave, fridge, crock pot and stadium style spot lights with them. What’s the point of camping?           ... cruise lecturing. Finally, Ft Lauderdale, and an ugly example of the US Federal budget mess. Immigration officers cut back, working to rule, and 2 1/2 hours to go through immigration/customs. 2800 very upset cruisers, cursing in many languages. Many of whom missed their connecting flights.
