      ... next couple of days, we had lunch at the fishing club overlooking the marina and walked the marina and Mutton Bird Island just outside the harbour (connected to land by the marina). There is a mutton bird colony that is fully protected here.

      We woke up in our beautiful spa villa and wandered down to breakfast. Breakfast was a delicious treat of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, as well as hot food, eggs cooked to your liking and every kind of tea and coffee you could think of. Best of all, this was all served on a gorgeous terrace overlooking an amazing secluded cove. The sun was shining, there was a light breeze in the air, and there was the distant tune of birds singing ...

      ... will go tubing in the river where the water is clean enough to drink! Our 2 nights again has been stretched to 3! This week has really opened my eyes to what everyone says about travelling. People can tell you until they are blue in the face that you will meet people, but until it happens at times it is hard to believe. We have a couple more days here before heading back to the beaches of Yamba and Byron Bay - well in theory ...

      ... for the good bit. I caught some proper good green waves and impressed myself and instructor. Finally think I can say I can surf, well at least somewhat. Got back from our lesson and jumped in the shower. Needed to dry off all my clothes before I left at 2 so was desperately hoping for more sun, but that didn't really show. Managed to finally FaceTime my old pal Bekee, which always puts a smile on my face. Miss you girl!! :) Had a spot of lunch and then waited ...
