Well, it's a good thing that we rain-proofed the tent by putting up our giant tent-covering tarp (we tie it to trees, so it doesn't drape over the tent and cover the air vents), even though the hourly weather forecast suggested 0% chance of rain until 4 a.m. and then 5% chance. We decide once I see Cheryl rise out of bed, that today would be ...

... to put on a dinner for us tonight. However, with Grandma’s memory not being great anymore, we figured it was too much for her and a bit of a hazard having her cook on her own. So we talked her out of it and said she could still make her potatoes and she could bring them over. So we left it at that, headed in to Food City as I had to pick up some of my Almond Milk for the next few mornings for cereal.

    We headed home for ...

Today is the first day of my First Solo Trip. I am traveling in my 1979 Fiat Spider on my way to Nashville. I left Richmond this morning about 7 am . The top was down the roads were clear and I was singing out. The drive has been wonderful, the mountains ...
