    ... had a slide in. When we got to the campsite some of us went into the pool and had a slide competition. We would take it in turns to slide down doing different poses and then score them out of 10. The best slide had to be the one where 7 of us made a train that basically filled the slide! Many giggles were had!the slide then turned off which may or may not have had something to do with 7 grown ...

    ... she's wearing stupid shoes, but there they are, still on her feet at the end of the movie, and we're supposed to believe that she managed all that running in those paeans to contemporary fashion. I can much more readily believe that someone would fund yet another bound-to-be-catastrophic dinosaur amusement park.

    I could go on. But I won't. If you want more snark, I HIGHLY recommend this review, from the New York Times. That reviewer said it all and better than I could.

    Well, it's a good thing that we rain-proofed the tent by putting up our giant tent-covering tarp (we tie it to trees, so it doesn't drape over the tent and cover the air vents), even though the hourly weather forecast suggested 0% chance of rain until 4 a.m. and then 5% chance. Sometime during the night (I did not look at my watch), it POURED, accompanied by a bit of thunder and lightning. Of course it did; we pitched a tent. As I have probably noted before, ...

    ... get some washing started, and head out to Walmart to go on the search for some 4th of July gear. We found a navy blue t-shirt with USA written on it for me, and a very pretty girls singlet for Aaron (as the boys gear was too big for him). So an XL female USA star/flag singlet it was (lucky there is a lot of gay pride around USA at the moment, haha). So we head home after gallivanting around Walmart getting our much wanted supplies.
