Johnstown was cute. It had all these shops and random museums, like the museum of hardware and the museum of maple syrup. Supposedly there's quite a Mennonite community there. Also a broom store, antiques, pottery and other randoms. There were these little chocolate balls at the bakery called rum balls, I had to try one. Anyway, again...I'll put pics up when I get home, they are the best.
Johnstown, Ontario, Canada alifebeinglived... the most, and I am going to help those in need as much as I am humanly capable of!! Denise's response is equally as easy, however it is much more hilarious. When asked she simply goes: "Well, one day Britt was like, Denise, do you want to go to Africa with me? And I was like yeah sure... and then two months later Britt was like, Denise, do you REALLY, SERIOUSLY want to go to Africa with me? And I was like... yeah! When do we book ...
Belleville, Ontario, Canada britt.bennettJust here to reunite with the BF before heading down to Toronto and Niagara for the weekend! Absolutely nothing happening here.. I've only been here for a grand total of 3 days and it's already boring! :P Just grabbed him after his exam finished and walked to the mall and back, transferred everything from my pack back into evil duffel bag from hell [how i didn't miss thee..] and went to one of our friend's houses to crash for the night.
TORONTO TOMORROW WOO! :)

... which neither of us realised and so caused yet more confusion. I eventually got kicked off the campus and stuffed in a taxi headed to the mall, where I happily remained for 3 hours. However I chose to walk back, which while it wasn't complicated [it's one biiiig straight road], I grossly underestimated how long it would take. Carrying my carryon on my shoulder, still laden with my dirty travel clothes and other miscellaneous items ...
Belleville, Ontario, Canada kilgiraffe... we were asked by border control if we had any guns "no", Mace "eh no" or any other items of self defence - "only Edie".
We pulled up outside the cabin and it was sheer delight to see Jo and Paul once again and even better that they had the wine chilled, The cabin was beside the lake with kayaks, canoes and fishing rods and a hot tub ready. The children leapt out of the car and within minutes they were running around with Cameron and Jenna as if they had been mates for years.
we spent three days at Consecon, just south of Trenton, we rode our bike thru the back country lanes, watched beautiful sunsets and Brent went to the airshow in Trenton, Jo stayed home and did her nails!!! Or something.
This is a lovely part of the country.
... called it to hit the road again and get to Pete’s.
The final leg was through Toronto (HUGE) and cities called Hamilton, Grimsby and Whitby. Until we found an Irish Pub for lunch (3pm). Then one more hour to meet Pete at Belleville. He chauffeured us to his house.
What a location! Lovely long lawn, pool, gardens surrounded by trees. A firepit at the base where we sat last night watching the fireflies. Very cool and must be gorgeous in the ...
... because pedestrian traffic is not allowed. So I went anyways and attacked a cop that tried to arrest me! Thank god it was dark or I wouldn't have gotten away. Haha! Just kidding, I used the onramps for the entire day. I got 250 km's in one day from 5 different rides. Very slow going. I crashed behind the one bush in a field behind the local truck stop and dreamt of flowers and bunnies.
Belleville, Ontario, Canada jojojinks12The drive up to Belleville from Kingston was scenic. It only took an hour. We saw a sun dog, which is like a rainbow spot in the sky, it means the weather is going to change. Here we are, about to embark on a four day biking excursion north, I hope the weather holds!
Belleville, Ontario, Canada lollyWoooooow! This is my last official day of work, I have less than two hours remaining until i can cast of the shackles of my midnight shift at a technical support call center and prepare for greater things. My time here has been pretty short, just a matter of months really. It's not been terrible but not somewhere that I would relish spending the rest of my working years... or even the rest of this working year for that ...
