Antigua gained its independence in 1981 with Vere Cornwell bird, a leader during the labour movement in the 1940s and became Prime Minister as there is a huge life like bust statute of him in the centre of town. We just touched the tip of the iceburg here as there is so much to see and do here.
It started to rain again as we returned to the ship.
We set sail at 4pm for Barbados.
