... amazing beaches. Esperance is home of the Recherche Archipelago so the view is quite spectacular with all the rocks/islands dotted about the ocean. This provided much hilarity as Max was super competitive and they started making obstacle courses and handicapped the races because their friend was a few years older and was kicking their butts! ... the pool to the very depths of the brightest blue water, appeared to be the most isolated place on earth, away from everything unnatural and modern and destroyed by us. it would have been absolutely amazing to have been brave enough to lower ourselves down into that pool, but being that it was just the two of us, and with the weather not exactly showing favour, a slip back up to the crevice causing a twisted ankle or broken arm, could have meant all sorts of trouble for us. no worries ...
