... lot harder without them... and, of course, there is that pool, too!

Remarkably, there was only one breakage in my shipment, which was delivered this morning. As anticipated, the customs people had a field day when they saw 'footwear' in the inventory for nearly every box (all those boots, you know...!), and they opened eleven out of thirteen, searching for traces of 'foreign soil', but luckily everything was ...
Geelong, Victoria, Australia fishtails04... a foot of a cheetah (a thick sheet of perspex between us, but he helpfully decided to pace up and down right in front of the glass) and played 'spot the hippo' as they came up for air, before ducking back down in their pools. I then arrived at Riverglen tourist park, where I am camping for the next 4 nights, and enjoyed my first hot shower in 3 days. That's it for now... I will have to go out this afternoon and find an internet café, so I can actually post this blog... Bye for now.
Geelong, Victoria, Australia wayfaring... so many others, Bondi Beach springs to mind, was a little nondescript and the flies were thick in the air. We returned to Torquay for another little spot of fishing, but had no more luck so packed up and headed back to Brighton . Zoe kindly offered us the loan of their washing machine so knowing we were to begin our long trip soon we dug in and Clare did all our washing.
Torquay, Victoria, Australia therhodesiesWelcome to Shaylie and Nicks Central America 08 holiday, we will both be writing this, if you know us you will probably have an idea of who has made the entry. The big day finally came, our wedding. Everybody told me two things, one was that this would ...
Geelong, Victoria, Australia darkproject2... to make things more interesting and put a couple of bets on. We couldn´t put the bets on that we wanted to (picking the first to score and the team to win in a combination) as the betting shops don´t work like they do at home so we went for the random combination of first scorer, total number of goals scored and Collingwood to win and headed to the ground. For any of you that haven´t seen an Aussie Rules game it is ...

Melbourne, Australia claire_noel... the coast. We arrived at Torquay only half hour or so towards the Great Ocean Road. This place is the home of surfing, where it all started, Rip Curl and Quiksilver to name but a few all hail from here. Nearby is the famous Bells Beach, the supposed scene for the final moments of the flick Point Break - the 50 year storm and all that. There are literally schools of surfing schools here along with all sorts of businesses making a living from the surfing world, generally ...
Geelong, Australia lindsaygauge... the 'ball' was filled with beans, so every time it hit the walls the noise would reverberate around the entire house. D'OH!

After finishing off yesterday's blog on their PC I collapsed in bed, clearly in perfect shape for our 11 hour drive along the world famous Great Ocean Road!

Great night though ;)

Lots of love,

Al & Katie xx
Geelong, Australia al_fey... the first viewing point a sea fog came rolling in. Within 5 minutes the fog had completely enveloped the rocks and visibility was down to less than 100 metres. I was lucky because many people arrived after me and they didn't get to see anything. For me, it was awesome just to watch the fog swirling around the headland in a very bizarre way - it was like being on the lip of a giant kettle! At this point I want to ...
Port Campbell, Australia mcaren... walking down to Yarraville train station and when we were by the local gym, New Level, Ryan said: "I am just gonna go now and talk to one of the trainers". It happened that he showed up at the perfect time without knowing it. Travis, the guy in charge of recruiting trainers, posted an ad to get people to come for a group interview on friday at 5.30pm, which is when Ryan decided make his first move. So the interview went very well. And Travis called back the ...
